Embark on an unforgettable Puglia cycling tour beginning in the heart of southern Puglia. Set out from the stunning baroque town of Lecce, known for its rich architectural heritage from the 16th to 18th centuries. From Lecce, continue cycling in Puglia through a picturesque landscape of olive groves as you make your way to the ancient walled city of Gallipoli, perched above the Ionian Sea. Continue your Puglia cycling adventure along the coast, stopping at beautiful sandy beaches en-route to the southern tip of the region, where the Adriatic and Ionian seas converge. Experience the thrill of cycling Southern Italy's dramatic Adriatic coastline as you ride toward the historic Greek port of Otranto. Head north to unwind on the golden beaches of the Cesine Coastal Nature Reserve before completing your cycling holiday in Puglia with a return to Lecce and perhaps final taste of the region’s famous orecchiette pasta.
