Walking the Catalan Coast

  • Relaxed walking off-the-beaten-path on the Catalan Coast
  • Medieval Begur with its 10th-century castle
  • Salvador Dali's former haunt, the white-washed town of Llafranc
  • Tropical botanic gardens of Cap Roig
  • Pintxos and paella by the sea on long stops for lunch
Discover a different side to the Costa Brava, walking on quiet trails between traditional villages. This less travelled part of the Catalan Coast is home to hidden gems such as the medieval town of Begur, one of Spain’s prettiest coastal villages Calella de Palafrugell, and the elegant enclave of S’Agaro. Coastal paths with views of the glittering Mediterranean, and inland routes through Catalan countryside, lead you from one beautiful village to the next. Enjoy delicious Catalan cuisine, dips in the sea at secluded sandy coves, and charming old towns bristling with atmosphere.
